Connecting the Dots Therapy Services

I am only offering teletherapy at this time to my clients and can conduct your sessions via telephone or video chat. However, your mental health is of utmost importance to me, so please do not go through this alone. I am here to help you!

I believe that we have an innate capacity to grow and heal. However, through difficult experiences and life transitions, we forget that healing and wholeness are always available. My goal is to assist you in becoming the best version of yourself. As we begin to heal, our perspectives of ourselves and others shift in ways that facilitate long-term and lasting change. I feel that sometimes being a human can be the most challenging thing in the world.

Are you struggling with issues related to trauma, grief, addiction, anxiety, or significant life changes? There comes a time when we need help from a certified professional to help cope with many life challenges.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Las Vegas, and I'd love to help you on your journey toward healing and connect the dots to self-discovery. Since beginning my social work practice, I have provided clients in Las Vegas with various psychological services. I have practiced for 15 years in the hospital setting and private practice.

Life can be overwhelming and sometimes even exhausting, but I'm here to guide you through any obstacles you may face. My goal is to help you better understand yourself and cope with change.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

I am also a state-approved clinical supervisor and was previously a Director of an inpatient mental health hospital where I had the opportunity to create the inpatient clinical program.

I believe that as we begin to heal, our perspectives of ourselves and others shift in ways that facilitate long-term and lasting change. My goal is to help you better understand yourself and promote therapeutic healing.

Let's begin your healing journey today.

Love Yourself

I guide my clients at every step and implement various methods to help them develop new attitudes toward life's most complex matters. To live in the present, we must work through our past. I see each client as unique and here to help you. I am a trauma specialist and have been a therapist for over 15 years. Typically my clients feel relieved of their symptoms in just 3-4 sessions.

Incorporating Humanistic Psychology provides a safe, unconditionally accepting experience in the therapeutic relationship. In this way, we work to remove any toxic shame you may be carrying from the past. This can be particularly helpful if you come from a difficult family upbringing. Many of the issues we have resulted from negative relationship patterns from the past. I incorporate Humanistic psychology, which helps with reparative work by making the therapeutic relationship as accepting, non-judgmental, and healing as possible.

I also incorporate Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, and Inner Child Work— These tools teach you how to relate to yourself in a loving, present-time, productive manner. Most of us suffer from a strong "inner critic." With the skills of Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, and Inner Child work, you will learn to alleviate suffering generated by the self-critic and move forward.

I am also a certified Hypnotherapist, utilize Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and am a Reiki Master.

As a trauma specialist, I utilize hypnotherapy for healing the mind's subconscious and inner child parts. In addition, I focus on healing inner-child parts that will alleviate anxiety, depression, and other emotional difficulties.

In addition, I offer couples and family therapy by incorporating a unique approach.

My Couples Therapy sessions are set up to help clients develop positive attitudes toward life's most complex and challenging circumstances. I use a unique and unbiased approach to help you get to a healthier space. I believe that, after time, things tend to diminish in our relationships, and I'm here to help strengthen them.

My unique approach to Family Therapy combines attachment-based, systemic-oriented, and trauma-informed treatment models. It has helped people find joy in family life, level up their relationships, see their voices, and experience more freedom.

Hypnotherapy & Neuro-Linguistic Programming Therapy (NLP)

Hypnotherapy is guided hypnosis or a trance-like state of focus and concentration achieved with a clinical hypnotherapist's help. This trance-like state is similar to being completely absorbed in a book, movie, music, or even one's thoughts or meditations. In this state, clients can turn their attention completely inward to find and utilize the natural resources deep within themselves to help them make changes or regain control in certain areas of their life.

Hypnotherapy can treat trauma, anxiety phobias, substance abuse, tobacco, sexual dysfunction, weight loss, undesirable spontaneous behaviors, and bad habits. In addition, it can be used to help improve sleep, learning disorders, communication, and relationship issues. In addition, hypnotherapy can help with pain management and help resolve medical conditions such as digestive disorders, skin issues, and gastrointestinal side effects of pregnancy and chemotherapy.

Although there are different techniques, clinical hypnotherapy is generally performed in a calm, therapeutic environment. The therapist will guide you into a relaxed, focused state and ask you to think about experiences and situations that can help you change how you feel and behave positively. Unlike some dramatic portrayals of hypnosis in movies, books, or on stage, you will not be unconscious, asleep, or out of control of yourself. You will hear the therapist's suggestions, but it is up to you to decide whether or not to act on them.

NLP is intended to help clients understand their minds and how they came to think and behave the way they do, learn to manage their moods and emotions, and reprogram how they process information to lead to more acceptable and successful behavior. At the same time, NLP is designed to help clients see ways they have been successful in the past and determine how they can most easily and efficiently repeat that success in other areas of their lives. As an NLP therapist, I believe that my clients have the answers to their problems within themselves; it is simply a matter of helping them draw out those answers.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) therapy incorporates NLP, a set of language- and sensory-based interventions and behavior-modification techniques to improve the client's self-awareness, confidence, communication skills, and social actions. NLP's goals are to help the client understand that how one views the world affects how one operates globally and that changing the thoughts and behavior patterns that have not proven beneficial in the past is necessary.

NLP has been used to treat fears and phobias, anxiety, poor self-esteem, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder, and reduced quality of life due to various psychological issues.

An NLP therapist may use various techniques such as visualization or forming a mental image of something the client wants and visual-kinesthetic dissociation, a process by which the therapist guides the client in reliving trauma from the distance of an imaginative, out-of-body experience. In addition, the therapist may seek to help correct language that leads to negative thinking and faulty communication. NLP Therapy can be short-term or long-term, depending on the individual and the extent of the problem.

When we experience trauma, they store not only in our minds but also in our bodies. Reiki stimulates energy to move in the body. You already have energy in the body, but it may be blocked and not flowing smoothly. During or after a treatment, you may feel the effects of energy being unblocked. It raises awareness in and around the physical body, where negative thoughts and feelings are contained, and charges them with positive energy.

Benefits of Reiki include: Promoting harmony and balance, deep relaxation, dissolving energy blocks, creating a balance between the mind, body & spirit, aiding in better sleep, accelerating self-healing ability, helping relieve pain, and making sense of grounding.

Currently, I am only offering distant Reiki sessions.

Guiding You On the Path of Self-Healing

Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer support. Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery, and in my sessions, I promote behavioral transformation by encouraging a positive outlook and adopting new attitudes and reactions. I have the tools and professional experience to help you get back on track.

I will challenge you to look at all aspects and create a healthier work-life balance.
