Since beginning my social work practice, I have provided clients in the Las Vegas area with various psychological services. I have practiced for 15 years in the hospital setting and private practice. Life can be overwhelming and sometimes even exhausting, but I’m here to guide you through any obstacles you may face. My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply and better cope with change.

I guide my clients every step and implement various methods to help them develop new attitudes toward life's most complex matters. To live in the present, we must work through our past. I see each client as unique and here to help you. I am a trauma specialist and have been a therapist for over 15 years. Typically my clients feel relieved of their symptoms in just 3-4 sessions.
My Couples Therapy sessions are set up to help clients develop positive attitudes toward life's most complex and challenging circumstances. I use a unique and unbiased approach to help you get to a healthier space. I believe that, after time, things tend to diminish in our relationships, and I'm here to help strengthen them.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming Therapy (NLP)
NLP is intended to help clients understand their minds, how they came to think and behave the way they do, learn to manage their moods and emotions, and reprogram how they process information to lead to more acceptable and successful behavior. At the same time, NLP is designed to help clients see ways they have been successful in the past and determine how they can most easily and efficiently repeat that success in other areas of their lives. As an NLP therapist, I believe that my clients have the answers to their problems within themselves; it is simply a matter of helping them draw out those answers.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) therapy incorporates NLP, a set of language- and sensory-based interventions and behavior-modification techniques to improve the client’s self-awareness, confidence, communication skills, and social actions. NLP's goals are to help the client understand that the way one views the world affects how one operates globally and that it is necessary to change the thoughts and behavior patterns that have not proven beneficial in the past.
NLP has been used to treat fears and phobias, anxiety, poor self-esteem, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder, and reduced quality of life due to various psychological issues.
An NLP therapist may use various techniques such as visualization or forming a mental image of something the client wants and visual-kinesthetic dissociation, a process by which the therapist guides the client in reliving trauma from the distance of an imaginative, out-of-body experience. In addition, the therapist may seek to help correct language that leads to negative thinking and faulty communication. NLP Therapy can be short-term or long-term, depending on the individual and the extent of the problem.
Hypnotherapy is guided hypnosis or a trance-like state of focus and concentration achieved with a clinical hypnotherapist's help. This trance-like state is similar to being completely absorbed in a book, movie, music, or even one's thoughts or meditations. In this state, clients can turn their attention completely inward to find and utilize the natural resources deep within themselves to help them make changes or regain control in certain areas of their life.
Hypnotherapy can treat trauma, anxiety phobias, substance abuse, tobacco, sexual dysfunction, weight loss, undesirable spontaneous behaviors, and bad habits. In addition, it can be used to help improve sleep, learning disorders, communication, and relationship issues. In addition, hypnotherapy can help with pain management and help resolve medical conditions such as digestive disorders, skin issues, and gastrointestinal side effects of pregnancy and chemotherapy.
Although there are different techniques, clinical hypnotherapy is generally performed in a calm, therapeutic environment. The therapist will guide you into a relaxed, focused state and ask you to think about experiences and situations that can help you change how you feel and behave positively. Unlike some dramatic portrayals of hypnosis in movies, books, or on stage, you will not be unconscious, asleep, or out of control of yourself. You will hear the therapist's suggestions, but it is up to you to decide whether or not to act on them.

With the powerful relaxation techniques of hypnosis, I can alter a person's immune system functions.
The effectiveness of hypnosis lies in the immense stress reduction during sessions. Since the stress response in the body is reduced with deep relaxation, the body's immune system immediately kicks into overdrive. By reducing stress, you are essentially decreasing inflammation in your body, allowing it to move from a fight or flight state towards a healing state where you feel safer and more secure.
When we experience trauma, they store not only in our minds but in our bodies as well. Reiki stimulates energy to move in the body. You already have energy in the body, but it may be blocked and not flowing smoothly. During or after a treatment, you may feel the effects of energy being unblocked. It raises awareness in and around the physical body, where negative thoughts and feelings are contained, and charges them with positive energy.
Benefits of Reiki include: Promoting harmony and balance, deep relaxation, dissolving energy blocks, creating a balance between the mind, body & spirit, aiding in better sleep, accelerating self-healing ability, helping relieve pain, and making sense of grounding.

I feel that sometimes being a human can be the most challenging thing in the world. Everything in life comes with a manual except for how to cope with life's difficulties. Even a water bottle says twist-off here. Becoming a good therapist took me stepping in many of your shoes to receive great depths of empathy, patience, and understanding.
In 2007, I completed my Master's Degree in Social Work at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I have offered a wide range of counseling and psychological services to help clients navigate life's challenges and most trying times. I utilize Hypnosis, Inner-child work, Mindfulness-based skills, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping),Memory Reconsilidation, and other modalities to guide you on a path towards healing. I am also a Master's Level Reiki Practioner.
